Senior superintendent at the Foreign Affairs section of the National Police Agency.Has independently been investigating a certain (cold) case involving false charges.

​4 years ago, during summer, Shiraishi meets Cygnus.CC’s top magician, Higashino Kouichirou a.k.a Navi. As they converse, Shiraishi realises that Navi has also been reinvestigating the same (cold) case he has.
​The both of them have, for a long time, been walking different paths, trying to reach the same truth.

That’s when Shiraishi understands the meaning of the 7 folded Tokyo murder and the sudden disappearance of Navi…

After the incident, he learns that the granddaughter of one of the victims, Shibusawa Hibari, has been in rather low spirits. Being previously acquainted with Hibari, Shiraishi worries and goes to visit her… What then spills from the lips of this young lady was far beyond what he could have imagined….

The both of them team up and start to gather clues that will bring them closer to the truth Navi has been hiding.

​​4年前の夏、CYGNUS.CCの日本公演で奇術師の東篠航一郎と出会う。対話を重ねる中で、彼もまた例の冤罪事件を追っていることに気づいた。ふたりは長い間、違う道を走りながらも同じ真実を探していたのだった。

そして起きた霞が関７人毒殺事件と、航一郎の失踪……
この事実が何を意味するのか、白石にはわかっていた。
